As of 1 October 2026, Marlies Zwols will join the leadership team of Team V Architecture. Together with Jeroen van Schooten, Do Janne Vermeulen, Irène Horvers, Frank Bouwman and Noortje ter Heege, she will help shape the firm’s business, strategic and organisational development.
With more than twenty years of experience at OZ, Marlies brings extensive knowledge of architecture, practice management and collaboration. Her strength lies in connecting people, disciplines and ambitions. This aligns well with Team V, where we work across different areas of expertise to create strong, future-proof projects.
Team V has grown: in the scale and complexity of our projects, in our collaborations and as a practice. With Marlies, we are adding experience and new energy as Team V continues to evolve.
At the same time, a new phase is beginning. Over the coming months, Marlies will work closely with our experienced bureau manager, Leo Pierik. Leo has been a valued and steady presence within the practice for more than ten years. He will gradually hand over his responsibilities to Marlies and the leadership team, and will leave the practice for health reasons in February 2027.
We are deeply grateful to Leo for his many years of commitment and for everything he means and has meant to Team V. Together with Marlies and the leadership team, he will ensure a careful handover in the coming months.
