Team V joins the movement! Last month, more than 60 architecture firms signed a joint “commitment declaration to adopt the principle of “biobased, unless.” .” By doing so, this group is directly contributing to the national ambition that, by 2030, at least 30% of all new construction and renovation projects should be biobased. A week later, a next step followed when project developers also signed their commitment.
Mariëtte Kooren, architect and member of Team V’s Sustainability Expert Team, signed the declaration on behalf of Team V.
In addition, the architect training developed by Building Balance has been transferred to the Dutch Association of Architecture Firms (BNA). Starting in 2026, the BNA Academy will offer this training across the entire sector: an important step in scaling up biobased building. Team V also played a key preparatory role in developing this training.
