Since January 2019, Do Janne Vermeulen is a member of the Amsterdam Committee for Spatial Quality. The committee advises the municipality of Amsterdam on the integral quality of the physical environment: urban planning, public space, cultural history and monuments.
The Committee for Spatial Quality consists of various subcommittees. Three area-oriented subcommittees (Committee 1, 2 and 3) advise on applications for building permits. Do Janne is a member third committee, which covers the areas North, the Western Garden Cities, Buitenveldert, Southeast, IJburg, Zuidas and Westport.
