The station is part of the Zuidasdok project, designed by Team V Architectuur, ZJA and BoschSlabbers landscape architects.

In a game-like environment you discover what the new Amsterdam South Station will look like. Stroll through the new Brittenpassage, enter the train or metro platform, and then walk down to admire the completely renovated Minervapassage. You can also go outside and see the trams at the stop on Arnold Schönberglaan or the bus station on the other side of the station. This video gives an impression of the virtual walk.

Zuidasdok

The large-scale Zuidasdok project is one of the biggest infrastructure developments in the Netherlands. Along with the transformation of Amsterdam Zuid station, the ambitious project includes the widening of the A10 Zuid motorway and the tunnelling of the road through the heart of the Zuidas. As well as the station, the De Nieuwe Meer and Amstel intersections will be tackled to improve traffic flow and road safety. Amsterdam Zuid railway station will grow to become a bustling hub, surrounded by green squares.
