HAUT has been nominated for the Dutch Timber Award 2022 (Nationale Houtbouwprijs) in the category Serial Timber Construction. This category features mostly multi-unit residential projects with a high level of prefabrication. The other two categories are Private Timber Construction, focusing on private housing, and Commercial Timber Construction, focusing on commercial and public buildings.
In each category an independent and professional jury nominated three projects. These project have a chance to win the category prize and the overall prize for the best timber building in the Netherlands. There is also an award for the highest popular vote, for which you can vote on the Timber Award website. The winners will be announced on 15 November, during the Houtdag 2022 in Tivoli Vredenburg, Utrecht.
The National Timber Construction Award aims to stimulate attention and interest in building with wood in the Netherlands. They do this by awarding a prize to the most striking, technically interesting and progressive projects in the field of wood construction. The award is an initiative of the independent trade journal Het Houtblad, published by Eisma Bouwmedia.
