During Dutch Design Week 2025, themed Past, Present, Possible, we present a series of future visions for the northern station area of Eindhoven Central Station. Based on the preferred scenario from the MIRT (Multi-Year Programme for Infrastructure, Spatial Planning and Transport) study for the Multimodal Hub Eindhoven (MMK), these designs imagine how the station and its surroundings could evolve in the coming years.
The visualisations will be on display in the monumental southern station hall as part of the exhibition on the future of Eindhoven Central Station, from 18 to 26 October.
The Multimodal Hub Eindhoven is part of the large-scale area development Eindhoven International Knoop XL and will become the beating heart of the Brainport region.
Team V Architecture, KCAP, and Movares are working together with the Dutch national government, the Province of North Brabant, the Municipality of Eindhoven, ProRail, and NS to create a future-proof public transport hub that accommodates growing passenger flows, a high-quality public realm, and new urban development.
