About a thousand visitors came in the weekend of the 19th of August to the building site of Lansingerland-Zoetermeer Station (a.k.a. Bleizo) to witness the placement of thirty-one beams of no less than sixty-one meters long over the A12 highway. These beams form the foundations for the new station’s viaduct. Remco Zwinkels made a beautiful photo series of the construction; also watch the spectacular video of the transport, production and placement of the beams.
Station Zoetermeer-Lansingerland (Bleizo) is expected to welcome its first passengers in the third quarter of 2018. The viewing point near the junction Zoetermeerselaan/Prismalaan is still open on working days from 8:00 to 16:00.
