For the project Maritim Amsterdam & Residential Tower Overhoeks a definite building permit has been issued in May 2016. This allows the construction to start at the end of summer.
The design includes two towers at Overhoeks, with stunning views over Amsterdam and the River IJ. One of the towers accommodates the Maritim Hotel, with 579 four star rooms. The Residential Tower contains 235 apartments and luxury penthouses of different sizes and types. The towers are connected by a public plinth, comprising of a conference center including conference halls and meeting rooms with about 5,000 seats, a luxury wellness and fitness area, several different bars and restaurants.
Both towers are expected to be completed at the start of 2019.
