Atlas, the main building of Eindhoven University of Technology, has been nominated for the Architectenweb School Building of the Year 2019
“According
to the jury, the architects added exactly the right amount of things during the
renovation, and did not overdo it. The way in which the glass and are shown, is
a success. With the original building there was experimentation with a curtain
wall; the jury appreciates that during the renovation, renewal in the facade
has been used and applied again. “
The award
ceremony will be on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Amsterdam.
