Construction manager Jeroen Heintzbergen of the Diakonessenhuis: “We chose these two parties because they do not see the work as a series of separate projects, but consider the project as one overall design. Together we will develop a new hospital at the existing location.”

The Diakonessenhuis has been the main hospital for the city and region of Utrecht for almost 175 years. Architect-director of Team V, Do Janne Vermeulen: “A project like the Diakonessenhuis is socially relevant, it really makes a difference to people. At Team V we look forward to this collaboration.
