Team V designs a new
layout for the ground floor for the Ministry of Finance in The Hague. The
current archive/documentation center is being replaced by additional meeting
and work places. Jeroen van Schooten and Do Janne Vermeulen were previously
responsible for the architectural design of the renovation of the building,
which was completed in 2009.
The reason for the new
layout is the need for an additional meeting and working area with flexible
workplaces, due to the high demand on existing workplace capacity. The design
has a homely atmosphere, it uses warm and natural materials and fits well with
the adjacent atrium with greenery.
