On 15 June 2022, Yvie Overhoeks attained its highest point in construction at 110 meters. A gathering of stakeholders ceremoniously shoveled the last pour of concrete on the roof of the hotel tower to mark the occasion. After this official moment the party continued on the ground floor with a BBQ to thank the approximately 350 people who work on this project on a daily basis. The flags hanging from the crane represent the 35 nationalities of employees and builders. While Yvie’s highest point has been reached, the work continues on the interior and finishing of the two towers. Yvie is expected to be completed at the end of 2023.
