Together with Heijmans, Hochtief and Fluor, Team V has been selected as one of the two consortia to create a design for the Zuidasdok project in Amsterdam. The project includes the development of Amsterdam Zuid Station as a public transport terminal, modifications to the A10 motorway and the design of the public space. The consortium that will be commissioned is responsible for both design and construction. The architectural design team within the consortium consists of Team V Architecture, Zwarts & Jansma Architects and Bosch Slabbers Garden & Landscape Architects.
Rijkswaterstaat is responsible for the procurement, on behalf of ProRail and the municipality of Amsterdam. In September 2015, the dialogue phase started, for which two consortia were invited. The competing combination consists of BAM, Volker Wessels and TBI. The commission will be granted in the first quarter of 2017 and in that same year the construction will commence. The project will be completed around 2028.
