Hotel Chicago
On the Wilhelminapier in Rotterdam, a hotel with apartments is being realised on the plot named ‘CHICAGO’, located between the landmark Hotel New York and Las Palmas. This project is commissioned by WestCord Hotels and cleverly combines hotel and residential facilities.
Hotel Chicago consists of a main hotel volume of five floors, with a smaller volume of two floors built on the roof containing residential penthouses.
The five hotel floors will provide a total of 200 hotel rooms from the first to the fifth floor. On the fifth and sixth floor, 7 apartments are planned.
The ground floor lobby will feature a three-storey high atrium on the North-West façade, which will be publicly accessible. Urban planners are working with the flow of pedestrian traffic in the surrounding area to optimise the public experience.
