The Vanzz Amsterdam: a new dynamic residential building in Arenapoort

The City of Amsterdamhas approved the Preliminary Design for The Vanzz Amsterdam. This means that we can start with the Final Design.

The Vanzz is a stone’s throw from the Bijlmer Arena Station, the Johan Cruijff Arena and the Amsterdamse Poort shopping center. The tower consists of 242 rental apartments and a commercial plinth with a restaurant and communal living facilities. The project contributes to the transition of the Arenapoort, which is changing from an office/event area to a high-quality multifunctional (residential) environment.

The innovative design of Team V Architecture focuses on high-quality inclusive living. The design takes into account a varied and mainly affordable residential mix with social, medium-priced and private sector apartments, with a priority arrangement for inhabitants from the South-East district.

The concept of the building emphases on ‘living together’; each floor will have a bicycle park and access to communal roof gardens. The two-storey plinth will contain a large communal space that can be used by all residents, next to an herb garden. A restaurant will return in the plinth with a large terrace on the water. The construction is planned for the end of this year.

SENS real estate is developing the plan in close collaboration with Vanzz Holding B.V., City of Amsterdam and delegated developer Lingotto. Savills Netherlands will supervise the sales process. The team consists of Team V Architectuur, Van Rossum Raadgevend Ingenieurs BV, Huygen, Cauberg Huygen, Frontwise Facades, Savills Nederland, Loyens & Loeff, ISIS Bouwadvies B.V., Deltavormgroep bv.
