Bart-Jan studied Architecture at the ROC, the Hogeschool Utrecht and the Eindhoven University of Technology. A successful internship at architectural agency Koen van Velsen led to a part-time job, which he combined with a master’s degree in Building Technology & Architecture. In 2010, he started full-time at Van Velsen, where he mainly worked on the Breda Station project.
Bart-Jan has been an Architectural Designer at Team V since 2015. As a Project Leader, he is responsible for the technical development and implementation of the Neuron and Mallegat projects. He previously supervised the implementation and delivery of HAUT and the Gelderland House of Province and has also worked on DPG Media and the service buildings of Zuidasdok.
Thanks to Bart-Jan’s combined interest in architectural design and construction technology, he can flesh out a design concept with great precision. This means he is regularly involved in the concept phase of project development and in competitions.
