After briefly studying Commercial Economics at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Younes decided to pursue his passion for architecture. He graduated from TU Delft with a Master’s degree in Architecture in 2024.
During his studies, he developed a strong interest in the role of the architect as a facilitator of social and urban transformation. Rather than seeing the architect solely as someone who designs and produces spaces, he is interested in how architecture can support communities in shaping their own cities. These ideas formed the basis of his graduation project, Borderless Connections, which explored architecture as a tool for social transformation in divided territories.
After graduating, Younes gained professional experience at ZZDP Architecten, working on a range of projects and further developing his skills in architectural design. He joined Team V in 2026, where he brings his interest in urban transformation into practice while further developing his technical knowledge and experience. He is currently working on the Rabobank Campus project in Utrecht and pursuing his architect’s title through the PEP programme.
