Peter Canisius

Role
Architect

Peter obtained his Master’s degree in Architecture from Delft University of Technology in 2018. Prior to that, he had completed a Bachelor’s degree in Built Environment at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and gained several years of work experience at OZ Architect. Fascinated by the pure aesthetics and formal language of Swiss architecture, he arranged an internship at an architecture firm in Zurich during his Master’s studies. After graduating, he worked at Chris Collaris Architects and Studioninedots, focusing primarily on residential projects. He enjoyed the challenge of integrating technical and financial constraints, spatial frameworks, and stakeholder interests into a cohesive design.

In 2025, he made the move to Team V—a deliberate choice to return to the original motivation that led him to study architecture: designing public buildings in urban environments with a distinctive aesthetic. His ability to balance competing interests and constraints is particularly valuable in the MIRT Multimodal Hub Eindhoven project, where he contributes to enhancing the city’s liveability.
