Erik-Jan van Dalfsen

Role
Senior Architect

Erik-Jan completed his Master’s degree in Architecture at Delft University of Technology in 2002, specialising in Architecture and Building Technology. He is at home at the intersection of design and engineering, which enables him to translate an architectural vision into a buildable reality.

He began his career at Roy Gelders Architects and subsequently worked for over 17 years at Koen van Velsen Architects, where his projects included large-scale developments such as the new Breda Public Transport Terminal, the renovation of the Schouwburgplein cinema in Rotterdam, and the new construction and extension of Groningen Central Station. All these projects involved a particular focus on design, materials, engineering and detail.

After it was announced that Koen van Velsen was closing his architectural practice, he made the move to Team V in 2026.
