Alessia joined Team V in 2019, after graduating with honours in her Master of Architecture at Eindhoven University of Technology. Previously, she had completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in her native Italy, while following the Erasmus Programme in Valencia, Spain throughout both studies.
During her internships, Alessia worked at Information Based Architecture (IBA) in Amsterdam, and also as a Computational Designer at Witteveen+Bos where she designed architectural and structural elements (including bridges and walls) that can be 3D printed in concrete. These experiences fuelled her fascination for new technologies applied in architecture and finding innovative solutions to create increasingly sustainable design.
Alessia completed her Professional Experience Programme and obtained her architect’s title during her time with Team V. Her project highlights include the renovation of the Neuron education Centre at TU/e Eindhoven, and she also enjoys working on design competitions. Currently Alessia’s focus is on the “Kiek Duirdan!” project in Arnhem.
