Iefke studied at the Hout- en Meubileringscollege (College for Woodworking and Furniture Design) in Rotterdam, where she developed a strong affinity with craftsmanship and materials. She subsequently studied Interior Architecture at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague, graduating cum laude in 2006. During her studies, she completed an internship at Atelier PRO.
Iefke has over nineteen years of professional experience as an interior architect. She worked at Architecten van Mourik and later at O3 Architects in Amsterdam, contributing to projects such as the Wibauthuis for the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and Rabobank Utrecht. She later gained extensive experience in design & build and strategic advisory roles at Colliers, Ideal Projects and Rever Workplace Innovators.
In her work, Iefke places the user at the centre of the design process, with a strong focus on spatial clarity, atmosphere and the relationship between interior and architecture. She strives to create timeless interiors through careful use of light, materials and detailing.
Since January 2026, Iefke has been part of Team V, where she works on thoughtful and aesthetic interior projects.
