Jeroen in jury BNA Best Building of the Year Award 2019

Date
24 January 2019

Jeroen van Schooten will be part of the jury of the BNA Best Building of the Year Award 2019. Last year Het Gelders Huis by Team V was chosen as the Best Building in the Netherlands.

The selection process will be led by a six-member expert jury with Jort Kelder as jury chairman. They assess the buildings in the categories Identity & Icon Value, Liveability & Social Cohesion, Stimulating Environments and Private Living Experience. The award ceremony will take place on May 17, 2019.

With the Best Building of the Year Award, the BNA (Dutch Association of Architects) wants to show the added value of architecture for people and society. For this reason, the jury will also look at the accessibility of the buildings: whether people can enter barrier-free, and especially whether the users can do all those activities for which the building has been designed.

The BNA Best Building of the Year is now open for submissions. Architects and their clients can submit their project until 5 March.
