International BREEAM Awards nomination for Atlas TU/e

The Internationale BREEAM Awards has nominated Atlas, the main building of the University of Technology Eindhoven, in the category ‘Public Sector Project – Post Construction Award’.

In 2017 Atlas already won the International BREEAM Award in Education & Health. The building won on the basis of its high BREEAM scores: BREEAM Outstanding 93.8%. The jury particularly appreciated the strong health and welfare aspects of the project and also the value forthe research community as an example for other projects.

In April 2019, Atlas received a whopping score of 96.01% when it was completed. With this score, Atlas is at the top of the BREEAM list of most sustainable educational buildings worldwide.

In total, five Dutch projects have been nominated for the international BREEAM Awards. The Awards will be presented on 2 March 2020 in London.

In 2018, the wooden hybrid residential tower HAUT in Amsterdam also won an International BREEAM Award.
