Thomas Harms

Senior Architect

Thomas has as an architect extensive experience in ambitious and complex architectural design projects in Europe. After studying at the University of Technology Darmstadt, Germany, he started his career at PFP Architekten in Hamburg , after which he decided to move to the Netherlands. He worked as an architect for Benthem Crouwel Architects, Arons en Gelauff Architecten and the last six years for UNStudio. At UNStudio Thomas worked on a series of projects ranging from small scale private housing projects, large scale office buildings, theaters and high-profile international competition entries. In various projects he was responsible for the entire design, including the management of external consultants, contract management, budget control and team planning. At Team V he is responsible for the timber residential building HAUT in Amsterdam. Furthermore, Thomas is BREEAM specialist and a member of our Sustainability Expert Team.
