Noortje studied architecture in Delft and Paris, attended the preparatory course at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, did internships in Finland and at M3H in Amsterdam. After graduating from Delft University of Technology in 2004, she started her career as an architect with Marc Prosman Architects and subsequently worked for 13 years at Benthem Crouwel Architects. Since 2018, Noortje is senior architect at Team V Architecture.
Noortje has extensive experience with a wide range of national and international projects at various scale levels, including the Multifunctional Car Park for RAI Amsterdam, various projects at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, shopping center in Koblenz (Germany) and a Rietveld housing extension in Bergen. In addition to her work as an architect, she is active in the expert team ‘Sustainability’, and has experience in business development and acquisition. At Team V she works on the renovation and new construction of the hospital ‘Diakonessenhuis’ in Utrecht, which will be transformed into a modern hospital for the next four years.
