Lisen graduated in April 2011 from the TU Delft with a major in Architecture Engineering. Her thesis was a study of a floating hotel in Rotterdam’s River Maas. During her studies she did an internship at Kroeze Ruys Architects and studied half a year at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. After her graduation, she started working as an architect at NACO. Here she worked on the Central Security Non Schengen project at Schiphol Airport. After this she worked on Rijkskantoor de Knoop at cepezed. Since February 2016, Lisen works at Team V Architecture on various design contests and Zuidasdok.
