Jeroen van Schooten is architect-director and founding partner of Team V Architecture.
Under Jeroen’s creative direction, which he shares with Do Janne Vermeulen, Team V has completed Sparrendaal Estate, the renovation of a.s.r. headquarters and the House of Province in Arnhem. Currently he is responsible for the design of Bleizo Station Zoetermeer, and three projects in Amsterdam: The New University Building, public transport hub Zuidasdok and mixed-use building CrossOver.
Until July 2013 he was founding partner of Meyer en Van Schooten Architects. He was responsible for many projects such as: the ING-House in Amsterdam, the Ministry of Finance in The Hague, the New Library in Almere, the Kromhout Barracks in Utrecht and Rotterdam Central Station.
Jeroen has had many additional functions, such as chairman of the Royal Institute of Dutch Architects (BNA) from 2006 till April 2010 and board member of the Centre for Process Innovation in Building and Construction of the TU Delft from 2008 till 2015. From 2008 to 2017 he was board member of the Dutch Green Building Council and since 2018 he joined the board of the Professional Experience Programme (PEP) for young architects in The Netherlands. He was also part of the jury of several (Dutch) architecture awards, such as the Architect of the Year Award, the Living Daylight Award and the ARC Awards.
