Anne van Schooten

Role
Architect

In January 2015, Anne received her Master of Architecture from TU Delft, after completing a Bachelor of Engineering at the Hogeschool of Amsterdam. During her studies, Anne’s internships were spent at Meyer & Van Schooten Architects, and for many years she was active as a student assistant at the ‘Multiple Intensive (Sustainable) Use of Space’ lectorate.

As a graduate Engineer, Anne gained work experience in Tanzania, collaborating on several projects, including a lodge with dive centre in Zanzibar. She finds the complex balance between size variation and function particularly interesting.

Armed with her master’s degree, Anne took up her first role at Benthem Crouwel Architects, and joined Team V in January 2017. She’s currently the Project Architect for Crossover, a multifunctional and innovative building on the Amsterdam Zuidas, as well as The August (Blok F in Overhoeks), and the Paasheuvelweg project. Anne has also worked on several private homes.
